The death has occurred at Featherstou of Air Samuel Lucas, father of Alt K. E. Lucas, of Levin. Air Byron Brown, after an interest ing' trip to the Islands and Australia, returned to Wellington' this week. Alt' A. Ait-Bain, of hotter Hutt (late Alauakau; is on a visit to Levin—the guest of Air Harry George. Air R. W'. Fleming, an erstwhile resident of the district, is at present on a Visit to Otaki, but leaves for Wanganui and Hawke’s Bay before proceeding to his home in the Canterbury district. Air ami Airs H. O. Jones and family left. Otaki yesterday to take up residence at Wellington. They take'with them the best wishes of a wide circle of friends in Otaki and district. ! Airs G. Murray, who has been a reddent of Otaki l'or the past forty years, leaves to-morrow to take up residence with Iter daughter at Waipawa. lu i fortunately Airs Murray is in very inditierent. health. The death occurred yesterday in Wanganui, after a brief illness, of Airs Reginald Richardson. Deceased was the eldest daughter of Air and A! Alex. Campion, of Rikiorangi, and before her marriage she was on the stuff of the Campbell street sehool. Shv is /survived by her husband ami one little daughter.—‘ ‘ Palmerston Times. ’ ’
