Horowhenue met iho Wellington touring team tit Levin on Wednesday, and defeated the visitors by 15 points to 3. With the advantage of a strong wind tile home team attacked incessantly in the first spell and scored three tries, all being converted. The local forwards were too heavy for the visitors tint! continually charged through them, while the Horowhenue backs opened up the game at every opportunity with a great deal of success, showing to great advantage over the opposing backs. Wellington, both forwards and backs, made a much better showing in the second half, Hickling finally getting through lo score.
