EUCHRE TOURNAMENT.
The euchre tournament, held on Monday night under the auspices of the Otaki Druids ’ Xodgc, proved a great success, the attendance being even larger than on the previous occasion. A deal of interest was shown and 1 closely-contested games resulted. Miss Millie Baker won the ladies' prize, while AlTss Ida Grcathead secured the consolation. For the men’s trophy Mr J. Fairley was first, while Air Gooding was awarded the “booby.” Dancing was afterwards indulged in to music supplied by Air G. R. Syinonds, while supper was fully appreciated, being presided over by Alcsdames Bills and Vann.
