SOCIAL EVENING.

1 The euchre tournament and dance held by norubets of the Otuki Druids’ Lodge and thejr friends on Wednesday night proved'even more successful than the previous functions of a similar nature. The attendance contributed a record, while enjoyment was at its height throughout. Mrs J. McGill won the lady’s prize, while Mrs T. McGill consoled herself with the “booby.” Mr Toms won the gent’s trophy, and Mr Sutherland the consolation. Supper was provided, the supervisors of this department being .Mcsdames J. B. Bills and G. Gordon. Mr G. It. Symonda played the dance music on an accordeou, the change from the piano being appreciated. The next function will be held at no distant date, and if the attendance is much larger a bigger hnlJ will be necessary. * »i mmmumtm r.i£t
