METHODIST SOCIAL.

There was a nice gathering at the supper-room of Brights’ Theatre ou Wednesday night, last, when a social gathering was held under the auspices of the local Methodist Ladies’ Guild. 1 1 was a sociable gathering, those present. indulging in a number of games, competitions, etc., which were entered into with much zest, and proved most enjoyable. A few musical items were also given and appreciated. Alias Albic Aluir played a very nice pianoforte selection, Alias Robinson contributed a song, Rev. AV. (.;. .Slade, ALA., a violin solo, and Air Cockrell a reading. Supper was served, and altogether it was a very plea.-aut little function.
