WEDDING.
A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised at the Church of tht Nativity, Blenheim, on Wednesday. July 28th, when Alice Mabel, fifth daughter of Mrs and the late Mr Marcus Ohlson, late of Otaki, and now of Blenheim, was married to Bertram second sou of Mr and / Mrs R. Robinson, of Aianakau. The Ven. Archdeacon York officiated, and Miss Girdward presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her brother, wore a bridal frock of white crepe de eliene, trimmed with silk fringe and the customary veil and orange blossoms. Tho bridesmaid. Miss Pearl Ohlson, sister of the bride, wore a dainty frock of white silk crepe, with silk straw hat to match, and carried a bouquet of spring flowers. The bridegroom's brother, Mr R. Robinson, acted as best man. The bridegroom’s gift to the bride was a set of fox furs, and that to the brides- I maid a cold pendant. The wedding I breakfast was afterwards held at the residence of the bride's mother. Later in the afternoon the happy couple left amid showers of confetti and good wishes .for Nelson, where their honeymoon is being spent.
