MOTOR FATALITIES.

Auckland, July 30. Richard McCrystal, whose motor car collided with the central pier of the railway bridge at Morningside, died from his injuries this morning, after having been unconscious for three days. Deceased was a civil engineer, and had interests in the Malay Benin sula. He leaves a widow and family. James Symes, the Wanganui manager and traveller for the Vacuum OH Company, was killed at Waverley this afternoon, the New Plymouth express running into his motor car at the crossing. Mr Symes was aged 30, and lie leaves a widow and three children. Deceased came from Dunediu a year ago.
