* Miss Pigotf, of Moutoa, has left on a trip to England. The death is announced of Mrs E. Bell, mother of Mrs 11. J. Smith, of Koputaroa. Mr 11. 11. Olliver, of Otaki, left, yesterday for Christ church to attend the funeral of his brother, who died on Thursday. Mr L. J. Purrie. who was recently operated on in Palmcrston North for appendicitis, Ims sufficiently recovered to enable him to return to his homo at Pox ton. A quiet, wedding was colemnised at Foston on Wednesday, when Miss Gladys Scaddcn. of Poxtou, was married to Mr Prank Cres-swell, of Ballance.
