The game was a good exhibition on the whole, but the All Blacks proved a superior combination, especially in the backs, and won by ;)!> points to nil. Mr J. O'Connor controlled the game. The Horowhenua Kugby Union is endeavouring to arrange a match with the AVellington Juniors on August 71 h and with the Seniors on August 21. Both matches, it is announced, will be played at Levin. This means that the visitors will be put to additional expense, and will have the unpleasant experience of waiting .for the goods train, which lands them in Wellington about .11 p.m., perhaps later, whereas if the matches are played at Otaki the visitors could return by the New Plymouth mail and reach the city at 7 p.m. AVe would suggest that one of the matches be played at. Otaki. This would help to encourage football in the southern end of the district, and j we feel sure there would be a good "gate."
