HOCKEY.
On account of the rep. football match at Palmerston Xortli on Wednesday all hockey fixtures for that day have been declared “off.” Otaki team, however, will indulge in a practice. Mr “Mick” Fitzgerald, 011 c of the mainstays of the To ifoi'o team, leaves to-morrow to take up residence at Marton. “Mick” will be muuh missed, as his general all-round play_ was of the best, while as a goal scorer probably has no equal on the coast.
