PICTURES. The star for to-morrow night will be "The Border Wireless," a film full ol adventure. W. S. Hart takes the leading part, and his fight at the wireless station, his love affairs, etc., all add to the interest of the picture. Strong supports will also be shown. THE ENGLISH PIERROTS. BRIGHTS* THEATRE— MONDAT NEXT. The English Pierrots, whose previouvisits to the Dominion gained for them the reputation of providing a clean. bright entertainment, devoid of any semblance to vulgarity, and containing plenty of originality and charm, are announced to appear at Bright-' Theatre on Monday next. The English Pierrots; occupy the front rank in ihie; class of entertainment, and their extensive experience of what is best suited to the public has resulted in a state of perfection being reached which haearned for them the highest approval wherever they have appeared during the past seventeen year?. The company consists of sixteen performers, each at accomplished artist in their own particular forte. A special feature is the i musical sketches, into whieh are introduced clever witticisms and smart patter entirely free from vulgarity. Included in the company is W. P. Turner, the quaint comedian, whose cheery' personality, extremely fine comedy, and excellent acting on the occasion of his previous visits will be recalled with pleasure. Referring to the Pierrots' Sydney season, the "Critic" .-.ays:— "The quality of the English Pierrot entertainment leaves no doubt in the mind of the lover of goo«i coi&cdy that this compact eombinafion thoroughly deserves the great success cihieved." The English Pierrots come with a reputation built on merit, and doubtless. their appearance in being awaited with pleasurable anticipation. The personnel of the company has undergone some slight alterations and additions since their previous appearance in the ] Dominion—these changes have added I to the merits of the combination as aa initrucie-ntal whole. The introduction of the ladies' quartette canned special comment in Australia, and the management are deserving of great credit in their carefcJ selection of artists and items-—ganged to please the publie. The fine programme presented by this cos?par. v T-.-ili doubtless go a long way towards enhancing their popularity. Patrons are well advised to book »eats at Isherwood's and prevent disappointment. So charge.
