TE HORO ANGLICAN BAZAAR.
The above bazaar was held on Friday last, and was a pronounced success. There was only one disgruntled gentleman present during the day, the Clerk of the Weather, but even his unwelcome presence was completely ignored. The To Horo ladies made most complete arrangements beforehand, and these were reflected iu the result, a sum of over £7T being raised. We dyre not mention names—all vie in their efforts, and the quality of the produce, sweets and fancy goods dear to the hearts of women were far above the average. All the arts and devices ever known to the human race were employed to extract money from the sterner sex, and from the look on some faces the efforts were evidently crowned with success. At the conclusion of the proceedingMr Petrie thanked all present for the work they had done, with a special word of thanks for the stallholders. The nigger entertainment given in the evening wa*| splendidly enacted. and created rnucrPintcrest. A Ehort dance afterwards just about used up the remaining steam possessed by the young people.
