AN AWFUL TRAGEDY
TERRIBLE DEATH OF WOMEN AND CHILD. EXPLOSION OF GELIGNITE. 'Xaumarumii. June 15. Word of a frightful tragedy comes from Tain, twenty-two miles beyond Ohura. From the meagre details to hand it appears that a charge of gelignite exploded in the house of Mr F. England, a farmer. Mrs England and a child were blown to atoms. There is no trace of the child. Miss Lilburn. sistcr-iu-luw of Mr England, was also killed, being blown through a wall. i» The police and a Justice of the Peace have gone out to hold an inquest. No further particulars tire to hand.
