OTAKI STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held their Otaki sale on May ‘Jdth, v.heu they offered a heavy yarding of sheep and a medium entry of cattle. The quality of the yarding of sheep was considerably above the average, aud as a result excellent competition took place for all linen offered and a very satisfactory sale resulted. Cattle were again neglected, and aales were hard to effect. 'I be principal business done was as follows: Medium mixed sex short) lambs 11s 64 to I.', 2d, good mixed sex “horn lambs Ids fid to Ids ltd, forward il-tooth owes and wethers 30s 3d, 1 and fi tooth ewes 20s fid, light weight fat ewes 28b 9d, light weight fat wethers 32s fid to 33sCattle: Light weight fat cows £9 10* 104 to £4O 10s, forward store cows £5 14s.
