FOOTBALL.
The AVaikanae footballers journeyed to Manakau on Saturday to meet the local team, and were disappointed in finding no one to play them. Home harsh words were said about the Rugby Union and officers in general.
The AVaikanae team has withdrawn from the senior grade and joined tho junior competitions. This has necessitated an alteration in the junior fixtures, the first round of which are now as follows:
