Among those held up in Wellington through the railway strike are Mr and Mr i'. H. Williams. Unfortunately the latter is ill, and doubly anxious to be home. The death occurred at Levin on Monday afternoon of Mrs Daniels, aged 53 year-. Deceases was a native of Nelson. but had resided in Levin fur the past sixteen years. Among the number inconvenienced by the railway strike was Mr W.HI. Field. M.P. for Otaki. who was at Rotorua, at the time the service was brought to a standstill. Having bu-i----in Wellington he motored through, arriving at his destination at one o'clock this morning. The many friends of Mrs Herbert Freeman, of Otaki, will regret to learr that she had the misfortune yesterday morning to .-.lip and break her leg just above the ankle.
