It may not be generally known that the New Zealand Government is providing special bed and table linen for the use of the Prince of "Wales and his suite during their tour of the Dominion. The whole of the linen,

which includes pillow slips, pillow shams, sheets, bed spreads, table cloths, toilet and dressing table linen, serviettes, etc., is now at Messrs I*. Robert and Co.’s factory in Main Street, Palmerston North, who have been instructed to embroider the Royal Coat of Arms on each article, and they are now working night and day to have the job completed in time. A representative of the. “Manuwatu Daily Times” had the privilege of inspecting the linen, which is of the best Irish manufacture, and has boon supplied by one of the leading South Island iirms. The quality is of the very best and the prices, which can be seen plainly marker i on each article, would make the ordinary person gasp, and go to show the high prices that articles of this kind have reached. The work being done is of the very best, and will greatly add to the beauty of each article. The Government are also supplying Dominion manufactured travelling nigs for the Prince and his

party. These rugs arc also now at Messrs Robert and Co.’s, who have boon entrusted with the work of working in silk the Royal Coat of Arms on

each. The rugs are ot the very best quality and finish, and should be much appreciated by those who use them during the trip. . 'I he King’s Colours, which are in l,os( silk ot Royal blue, white and i-rimson, and arc to be presented by tin- Prince of Wales on behalf of His
