GOLF.
OPENING OF SEASON. The wintry wcafiier prevented a large attendance at the local links on Saturday for the opening of the peasou, but there was a fair muster o* goliiing enthusiasts, who spent au enjoyable afternoon. Keen interest was shown in the competitions, details of which are held over until next issue. The ladies provided a splendid repast.
