WAIKANAE NOTES.
(jirom uur uivn uorresponueni.; Miss Fairburn, of the local post office, has resumed duties after an absence of three months on sick leave. Members of the Y.M.C.A. arrived on Thursday, to camp at Ngarara, Mr (Field's property, for their Easter holidays. A house at Rikioraugi, belonging to Mr Odlin, occupied by Mr Higgie,.was burnt down last week.
| Mr and. Mrs .T. M. O'Connor, who have lived in Waikanae for a number of years, have now taken up residence in Levin. T-he Bishop of Wellington will be in this district on Sunday week, when lie will hold a conlirmation service at Waikanae. We are pleased to say that Master Harry Priddey, who met with a severe motor accident sonic time ago. is now at home, and well on the road to recovery.
Mrs Udy, of Waikanae, is at present ] an inmate of the Otaki Hospital. Mrs j Udy is making good progress, and hopes i to return home at an early date. i Mr W. Thompson met with an accident while at work, receiving a nasty gash on the top of his head, which rendered him unconscious. He is making a good recovery. j
