A meeting of members ol the Oiairi Hockey Club was held on Wednesday

night, when matters concerning no five-aside tournament for Easter Monday were discussed. trome tweniy members of the club handed in tio-i. names as Vicing willing to play. It also reported that the Iluia Club (Mel lington) would be represented. Tin question of holding a billiard tournament was also discussed, and member.were unanimous that such would provide a deal of interest.

AA'ord has been received from the Iluia Hockey Club (Wellington) to the effect that three teams will be scat to the hockey tournament to be held at Easter at Otaki. Teams are also expected from Feilding, Palmerston, Levin, and Te Horo.

Hockey in Levin promises to boom this season, and it is considered that no less than four clubs will fake part, while Shannon anticipates putting in a team for the competitions.
