MONTHLY MEETING. At, the monthly meeting of fhc Horowhenua A. and P. Association, held al Levin, it was reported that a profit of approximately £2(JO. had been made ns tho result of the recent two dai's’ show. The income for tho year was reported to be £960. Messrs Geo. Sic vers and D. Munro, judges, wrote stating that they would rot charge for their services, and would be pleased to act at any time if the Association so desired. They were accorded hearty votes of thanks. A similar vote was passed to Mr Geo. Catlcy for supervising the milking competition. The question of holding a winter show was deferred till next meeting, at which it was decided to invito poultry-breeders to be present. A vote of condolence was extended to tho relatives of the late Air R. D. Uarkriess. who had always been au enthusiastic exhibitor.
