THE FLOWER SHOW.
ON WEDNESDAY NEXT. ENTRIES CLOSE TO-MORROW. The Horowhcnna Horticultural and Industrial Society,'9 Autumn Show takes place at Brights' Theatre ou Wednesday next. The reason has been a particularly good one tor vegetables, therefore there should be a specially good display in this division. Fruit and out blooms should also be numerous and good, and everything points to :< most, successful exhibition.
We would specially remind intending exhibitors that entries positively close with the secretary (Mr S. Norgrove) at noon tomorrow. No late entries will be received.
All the arrangements for the show are well under way. It is expected that two nurserymen will stage trade exhibits, while Messrs Harold Small and A. W. Broadway will put up interesting exhibits that will be well worth seeing. AVe can confidently recommend all lovers of horticulture to visit the show, while »c hope growers will do their best to support, the show by entering whatever they can.
Donations of sweets, cakes, etc., will bo thankfully received for tho sweets stall and refreshment roomv, which will bo in charge of Mesdames Kilmister and Hodgson respectively.
