SUGAR CONTROL.

BOARD OP TRADE'S SCHEME. The arrangements for an equitable distribution of sugar throughout the Dominion have now been completed by tho Board of Trade. Tho Board h BchonTe provides that the retailer shall draw his supplies from ono merchant only; and in cases where retailers have previously dealt with more than one merchant, the merchants are to meet and arrange amongst themselves from which of them each retailer shall in future draw his supply. This system, which was first adopted in Auckland, has been extended to the other centres, and is claimed to be working satisfac torily.
