Manakau cricketer? were much disappointed on Wednesday, Y.M.C.A. failing to send an eleven to meet them. The local players assembled, and indulged in a good practice game. The Y.M.C.A. Saturday team will meet Shannon on thc Levin Domain on Saturday next, this fixture having to be postponed from tust week owing to wef weather.
The return representative match, Manawatu v. Ilorowhenna, will be played in Levin on Saturday week, March 13. The Horowhcnua team will be selected after thc matches on Saturday next.
