HOCKEY.
OTAKI CLUB. The annual general meeting of th« Otaki Hockey Club was held on Wednesday night, when thc attendance was satisfactory. The report and balancesheet were considered satisfactory, thc latter showing a small credit, balance. Tho following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr H. Witchcll; president, Mr J. P. Brandon; vice-presidents, Messrs W.. F. Edwards, Stewart, A. Satherley, T. B. Bax, and J. D. Howell; secretary and treasurer, Mr Ron Satherley; captain, Mr A. Adsett; vieocaptain, Mr C. Batten; selection committee, Messrs W. Fairley, Bruce Knox, Roy Satherley; delegates to Association, captain and secretary.
Judging by interest displayed it was generally considered that there would be sufficient members for two teams, and if so it was agreed that thc second eleven play in black. Several new members were elected. The question of a live-aside tournament for Easter Monday was discussed, and Messrs H. Nicolson, C. Batten, Ron and Koy Satherley. and A. Adsett were appointed to make the necessary arrangements.
