MAORILAND PICTURES.

The story ef "Battling Jane," to b£S shown to-morrow night, is as whimsical as it is funny—touched gently with the divine hand of the master director, D. W. Griffith, who has created a story, brimful of pathos and laughter, intermingled as only D. W. Griffith can intermingle it. Pathetic at times. Story, of a wild young girl with a heart as tender as the softest of rose petals—who mothers a baby which is not her own, as many of the town inhabitants believe. How things straighten out: aj the finish,, from a seemingly, hopeless tangle to "a bright, happy ending, is wonderfully shown in this delightful picture. . Owing to the serial "The Silent Mystery," not arriving in time for Tuesday it will be shown on Thursday (to-morrow) night.
