Mr Eore Nicholson, of Levin., has received the following telegram from Dr. Pomare: — " \n invitation is issued by the Gov- '. eminent to the chiefs and people of ' your district to fake part in the official ' Maori welcome to the Prince of Wales ' a t Eotorua on April 20 next. Free railway and boat passes have been arranged to and from Botoruu, also tree accommodation and food. A full muster of returned Maori soldiers is desired. Please arrange with your people to give an exhibition of dances, etc.. 'and'bring r.o children, as an outbreak Of influenza is feared. Let me know urgently how many intend taking part an d at what stations they will join the
