The request of Mr W. H. Bowden, who leaves shortly for Sydney, fpr a reference, was willingly granted by the Taratahi-Carterton Club at its last meeting. Glorify is Being backed about Mocdvilie by H. Lorigan, to whom the gelding has been presented by Mr K. A. McKenzie. Glorify for some time was trained in Otaki.

There has been a rupture between the Queensland Turf Club Committee and the stipendiary stewards, and a new board is to be appointed.
