Bowden, jun., who rode a winner that paid a handsome dividend. Moutoa Ivanova, locally trained, wen •the Manchester Handicap at Feilding, paying a good dividend. Hushabye, who won the Bongotea Hack Hurdles, also paid a substantial figure. Gang Awn’, trained at Levin, won the Cheltenham Hurdles, Swcnee River won the Niknu Hack, Acre the Qroqa Stakes. Valley Rose tho Novice Stakes, and -Arrowfield the Empire Welter.
