ARMISTICE DAY.
MESSAGE FKOM THE KING. Sis Majesty the King hats neat a message to the people throughout the British Dominions, requesting that, on Tuesday, November 11th (tomorrow) at 11 a.m. for the space of two minutes there may be a complete cessation from all activities. All work, all sound, all locomotion is to cease, so that in perfect stillness the thought of every one may be concentrated on reTcrcnt remembrance of the Glorious Dead. The Otaki Anglican Church and the Native Church bells will be ran at 11 a.m. to-morrow to serve as a signal for the observance recommended by the King. Mr Byron Brown (chairman of the Town Board) has received a telegram from the Prime Minister, asking hiwi to arrange for the King's wishes to be carried oat In respect to Armistice Day, By advertisement Mr Brown requests the citizens to conform with the observance recommended by the King.
