A matcb for the Pearcy Cup was played on the Otaki green on Saturday, when Smith, Knight, Petrie and Satheriey (») were defeated by Brown, Edwards, Kilmlster and Noble (s), 24 —21, after a capital contest. The winners started off with a four and a five, after which the losers pulled up, ar-d an exciting contest resulted.
