At a meeting of the committee of the Otaki Bowling Club on Friday night, Mr A. McDougall was unanimously elected secretary, the position having been' vacated by Mr H. Witchell on account of pressure, of business. The latter has held office for some time, during which he has always been courteous, obliging and efficient, and his retirement will naturally be a heavy loss to the club.
