CLEARING SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:— We held a clearing sale of dairy stock on account of Mr H. Sanies at the farm, Ilautcro Cross. There was a large attendance of buyers present and keen competition throughout, and the herd of 30 made an average, of over £l9 tier head. Wo also offered on account of Mr W. * W. Westawav a very choice lot of wellbred Jersey cows in milk, which made an average of £39 per head. This we believe to be a record for the district. We quote: £3o, £-37, £39, £4l, £43, £lf 10s, £4G, autumn calver £2O 10s, pedigree Jersey bull 21gus, heifor and calf £23, yearling Jersey heifers £7 10s to £l3. '
