BOWLING.
The Levin Bowling Club opened its season on Monday (Labour Day) in perfect weather. The green was freely patronised, and a most enjoyable time spent. Afternoon tea, provided by the ladies, was an item fully appreciated. The Otaki green was well patronised, and players showed marked improvement on play exhibited on the opening day.
