PERSONAL.
Mr J. K. Hornblow, of Foxton, has been elected a vice-president of the School Committee's Federation of New Zealand.
Mr Casbolt, who recently returned from two years' active service, has been appointed on the staff: of the local post and telegraph office, and commenced his duties here yesterday.
Miss Windlcy, who has been on the staff of the Manakau school for.some considerable time, has been transferred to the Te Horo school, to fill a vacancy there. Mrs Mieldc is filling the vacancy at the .Manakau school temporarily.
