• CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS. - Points. Tc Horo 13 Excelsior 12 Otaki 7 - Tainui 6 I Y.M.C.A. 0 I Taiuui and Y.M.C.A. have each a iaatch to play. A meeting of the Otaki Hockoy Association was held at Brights’ Theatre meeting-room on Monday night, Mr H. Nicolson (vice-president) presiding. Delegates were present from the Ex*elsdor and Y.M.C.A. Clubs (Levin), Te Horo, Otaki, and Tainui The third round of the championship fixtures was arranged, while it was decided to keep in view the advisability of holding a North v. South match, and also a representative contest. Various other matters appertaining to the welfare of the game were also considered. The Huia Hockey Club (Wellington) is endeavouring to arrange a return match with the Otaki Club for the 27th inst. at Wellington, and it is understood that the journey will be made on that iate. The Huia Club has also extended an invitation to the Otaki referee who officiated in the match here on Peace Day to act in the match in Wellingaou.
