LEVIN STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and AVilliums, Ltd., report:— At Levin on Tuesday we had a largo entry of sheep and a fair entry of cattle, which was submitted to a representative attendance of buyers. Bidding for sheep, especially fats, was keen, and practically every line changed hands at an advance on late rates. The pig market also showed,a marked improvement. Prices ranged as follow: —Price wethers and maiden ewes £2 14s fid, fat wethers £2 7s 9d, fat ewes 30s 3d, 345, 37s Gd to £2, fat hoggets 21s 7d to 23s Sd, ewes and lambs 3t)s, extra good hoggets 31s lOd, good hoggets 225,' 22s 9d to 245, L.f. hoggets 17s Gd, ISs to 19s, small hoggets 10s, fat cows £lO 10s to £l2 12s Gd, vealers £3 Os Gd, empty s.h. heifers £7 ss, dairy cows £7, £S, £9, £lO, £l3 10s to £ll, springing heifers to £lO, store pigs £2, £2 Is, £2 ss, £2 9s, to £2 los, weaners 31s, 325, to 395, p.b. boar (six weeks) £2 3s Gd, porkers £l, £5, £3 7s, £3 Bs, to £5 10s.
