On the second day the money (President’s Handicap) will be worth £3OO. For the two days there will be sixteen faces, therefore sport should be fast and furious.

Desert Gold has now entered upon her seventh year, and has once again wintered well. Hopes arc entertained of the daughtef of All Black and Aururius again takening a prominent part in this season’s racing.
