BOWLING

In a club final in South Brisbane recently a brilliant recovery was sus'tained to the end. It was a rink match between teams captained- by Green and Dowrie., With six ends to go Green led by 23—S. The match appeared to be all over bar shouting. However, the "under dogs" got busy and scored 4, 3,3, 2,1, 3, thus winning the match on 4 the post by 24—23. That's the sort of win which quickens interest in bowls.
