Russia’s losses were as follows: — Killed and died of wounds 1,700,000 Disabled 1,450,000 Wounded 3,500,000 Prisoners 2,500,000 In its turn the Russian army took 5.500.000 of the enemy prisoners. Most of these were Austrians. About 500,000 Germans were taken.
