To-morrow “The Sales Lady” will be the star film, and lovers of good acting should attend. A wealthy girl is impoverished and thrown on the wide world. She meets a banker’s sou and dangers and troubles beset her. She becomes penniless, fresh trials arise, confidences are exchanged, she is hit harder, and ns a last resource she seeks a position on the stage. Then follows a -marriage proposal, and a happy ending. The story is well told, the picture is splendidly depicted, and the scenery of the best.
