MANAKAU.
" (From Onr Own Correspondent).., Awell-attended meeting of the Muna-kau-Peace Celebration Committee was held on Wednesday evening Jast, Mr Howard Andrew in the chair. The chairman congratulated the various committees on the excellent work done by them, and made special reference to the splendid way the ladies had worked. Various matters in connection with the celebrations were attended to, and accounts passed for payment. It was stated that, when everything was in hand, it" was anticipated that there would be sufficient funds to meet all liabilities.
