WORKERS' HOMES.
TWO HUNDRED COTTAGES TO BE ERECTED. Following on the recent announcement that the Department of Labour intended to erect a number of workers' dwellings, the Department has now received authority from Cabinet to proceed with the erection of -00 workers' dwellings throughout the Dominion. The Workers' Dwellings Board has received about 500 applications, and the board has allocated 200 to the various towns as follows: — Wellington 75 Auckland 17 Christehurch 1Dunedin - Fcilding - Hamilton * Hawera 1" Marion - Huntly 1 Masterton 8 Napier - Nelson 4 New Plymouth 13 Oamaru S Otorohanga 3 Palmerstou North 1" Taihape '"' To Aroha 6 Timnru '■'■> Wanganui 10
