COMMITTEE MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Oiaki School Committee was held on Monday night. Present: Messrs J. E. Bills (in the chair). Watts, Anderson, Ayte, ixwi Mr, Bill". The headmaster's report Minted everything appeared to have gone smoothly during his enforced absence. Mr Bodkin was now on holiday on,account of argent private business, and Mr Cumpsty would therefore remain till bis return. As for Mr Mackenzie's dental proposal, he woaid be pleased to explain it i to parents. Mr Bmlii said lie noticed the Government was also moving in a similar manner, but it would cot be s:o effectual as Mr Mackenzie's scheme, which, he considered, wan v.ortk a trial'.
