A FAVOURABLE REPORT. Wellington, July 7. The Department of Agriculaure has received the following cablegram dated ijth July from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London: "The Manila market is firm with a moderate demand for grade afloat. The current spot quotation for hemp is £55, shipment to be in July. August or September. £3-1 15s JTew Zealand. The market is quiet, quantities landed and on the nay contracted for at late maximum prices affecting the demand. There is a fair inquiry for forward shipments at about £sl 10s to £52.
