kenzie. The last medal competition was won by Hedditch. His score, 97—12—85, though not very good, shows .an improvement on his recent form, and is perhaps an indication of a better future. The bogey handicap played last Saturday was won comfortably by Pode■vm, all square. This player is on the jvay to a greatly reduced handicap. Miss O'Rourke just got home in the ladies' bogey match (being 1 down to the colonel) from Miss Bennett and Miss Quill. Owing to the train service being now Unsuitable the proposed match in Falinerston, Mauawatu Ladies v. Otaki ladies, has been abandoned. The Otaki secretary has written to the Mauawatu Club inviting a ladies' team to visit Otaki.
