PROPOSED VISIT TO OTAKL Miss Mary Hames, representing fhe Chautauqua Association of New Zealand, is in Otaki to-day, in coanecticn with, a proposal for tka combination to include Otaki in its itinerary on 'Sis next visit to New Zealand, in November next. On the occasion of the first visit to New Zealand only sixteen town* were visited in the Dominion, but, encouraged by tho success of the venture, and the demand for an extension of its sphere of operations, it rs new proposed ihat some forty towns in the North Island be included in the next itinerary. Miss Hames baa elready made arrangements for Chautauqua to visit several fresh towns, meeting with heartening promises of assistance. The combination to visit New Zealand next November will include several exceedingly clever and brilliant artists, musicians, orators, etc., and the visit of such should have a distinctly educational effect on the community.
