MAORILAND PICTURES. Paramount pictures—claimed to be the leading ones of the day—are to be shown twice a week at Otaki in future. On Thursday (to-morrow) "The Heiress at Coffee Dan's" will be the star, and lovers of a good drama should attend. There are shown many adventures of an interesting nature, whilo the gang of crooks holds one spellbound.

On Saturday Paramount will present j the super-serial, "The Eagle's Eye," ': the twenty-episode serial supreme, each .chapter in two acts. The film is produced from facts supplied by world's greatest detective, Chief Officer | ' Flynrf. President Wilson appears in the picture, while such actors as King Baggott and Marguerite Snow arc lead- [ ing stars. Episode No. 1 is "The Hid- ; den Death," while No. 2 is "The '; - Naval Ball Conspiracy." These epi- j sodes will be followed by "The Plot M Against the Fleet," "Von Bintellen, I • the Destroyer," and "The Strike | Breeder."
