OTAKI V. JOENSONVILLE. In Wellington Friday night was very wet, so only six of the Johnsonville golfers had the courage to take the morning trains on Saturday. Thev were agreeably surprised to find a dear, bright day when they arrived in Otak-i. The match resulted in a win for Ofcaki by four games to two. Particulars as follow. Johnsonville players mentioned first: —Kirk beat Winterburn, Kent (captain) lost to Griffiths, Graves lost to Brown (captain). Mcßee-th lost to Hopkins, Thorpe lost to P. Sirncox, Sloane beat Hedditch, Wallis and Podevin all square. Next Saturday the ladies will play a medal round.
