REID'S CLEARING SALE. The IST.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report having held a clearing sale of dairy stock on account of Messrs Reid Bros.' estate at Otaki on Thursday, 29th hist. There was a good attendance of buyers present, and satisfactory prices were obtained—an average of £ll 5s per head for the 50 odd dairy cows. .July calvers £lO to £ls Pis, August do. £9 15s to £ls 10s, September do. £9 to £l4 ss. October do. £7 10s to £ll ss, cows in milk £lO 10s to £l4. springing cows £l4 10s, springing heifer £ll ss, fat cows £lO 5s to £lO 10s, forward condition cows £7 to £9, storo cows £2 10s to £6, yearling heifers £3 10s, weaner steers £2, heifers do. 30s, cow and calf £6 7s (id, bull £5, breeding sows £2 10s to £5, store pigs 295, weaner do. 12s, aged spring-cart horses £3 to £ll.
